Join the Memorial Chair & Bench Program at Sandy Hook by purchasing a dedicated all-weather 60” bench with a custom plaque to be placed inside Sandy Hook for all visitors to enjoy.
The cost includes
Price of the bench from vendor plus shipping
Labor and materials for the construction and installation
Bronze commemorative plaque
Care, maintenance and storage during inclement weather months
The plaque
is limited to one per bench
includes 3-4 lines of text, subject to review by SHF and vendor
your plaque wording must be supplied in writing via email and can not be changed once proof is approved by you.
The placement of your bench
Will be inside the park at Sandy Hook and available for all visitors to enjoy on a first come-first serve basis
Will be located and moved at the discretion of the SHF and the National Park Service
May be moved into a storage location during the winter season or during inclement weather events
All benches become the property of the Sandy Hook Foundation and will be maintained according to best practices inside the park.
