Return of the Ospreys Walk with Beachy Birder Adventures

  • Spermaceti Cove Life-Saving Service Station (map)

Lindsay McNamera, of Beachy Birder Adventures, in partnership with the Sandy Hook Foundation, joins us on Saturday, March 21, for our Return of the Ospreys walk! Celebrate spring by looking for all your favorite coastal birds. Grab your adventure buddy and join us on Saturday, March 21, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Birding is for everyone. All are welcome on our friendly and respectful Beachy Birder Adventures!

We will meet at the Life-Saving Service Station in Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook. We will walk along the paved, flat multi-use path and possibly a boardwalk trail or two for about two miles. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring water and binoculars if you have them. We have 10 pairs of 8×25 birding binoculars available to borrow, and we will also have a spotting scope to look through.

Our outings are rain or shine, but in the event of extreme weather, we will reschedule for a more enjoyable experience. Let’s get birdy!

More information and registration can be found HERE

Half of the registration fees will be donated to the Sandy Hook Foundation, the official nonprofit partner to the National Park Service at Sandy Hook
