Join Jon, owner of Roots and Rivers, for a hands-on terrarium workshop where you will learn how to build your own mini ecosystem from start to finish. He will guide you through each layer and its purpose so you leave with a beautiful, low-maintenance terrarium to take home.

All materials are included, and no experience is needed, making this perfect for beginners. This class is suitable for ages 5 and up. Participants under 14 must be supervised.

Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, but everything must be packed out, as Sandy Hook is a carry-in, carry-out park.
