The Sandy Hook Young Professionals (SHYP) plan to support our local community and raise funds for the Sandy Hook Foundation this holiday season by hosting our annual SantaCon Beach Cleanup & Bar Crawl in Highlands and Sea Bright. SHYP is a subsidiary of the Sandy Hook Foundation and is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, connected community among the next generation on the Jersey Shore.
We plan to kick off this evening of local fun at Beach Lot C on Sandy Hook, where we will provide participants with a "Santa Sack" (aka trash bag) and a list of local bars in order of where to go. The cleanup and check-in will take place from 2:00-3:15, with plans to head to the first destination afterward.
