Evening Stargazing with STAR Astronomy

Join the STAR Astronomy Club and take a look at the beautiful skies Sandy Hook has to offer! Stop by at 8pm (a little after sunset) and get an up-close and personal view of the stars! With two days before the first quarter moon, there will be many Summer interest objects up in the night sky, so make sure to stop by! Moonset will be at 10:16pm, with Saturn and Neptune only visible after 10pm. Hope to see you there! No registration needed!

All visitors will be parking on the Left/North side of Lot E. After entering, walk over to the line of telescopes to observe.

Bring an extra layer as it can get cool/windy.
